Decayed, damaged, or weakened teeth often require strength and reinforcement for optimal oral health.
Dental crowns are custom-crafted restorations designed to fit over the entire tooth structure, protecting it for many years to come.
Dentist Timothy M. Kelly places same-day dental crowns at our Albuquerque, NM, practice.
What makes our crowns the best choice for patients?
The Unbeatable Benefits of Same-Day Crowns
Have an urgent dental issue? We offer custom same-day crowns to treat damaged or decayed teeth as quickly as possible. With same-day crowns, you can enjoy instant relief and peace of mind knowing your tooth is protected.
No Temporary CrownsTraditional crowns require two appointments with an inconvenient waiting time in between. Our in-office milling technology allows our dentist to craft custom dental crowns in just one visit, eliminating the need for temporary crowns or an extra trip to the office.
Fully CustomizableWe strive to make each dental restoration indistinguishable from your natural teeth. Our dentist uses high-quality porcelain that is strong, stain-resistant, and tooth-colored. Additionally, Dr. Kelly customizes every dental crown to match the shape, size, and shine of your surrounding teeth.
Reduced Risk of Future ProblemsWhether you just had a root canal or are dealing with a fractured tooth, a dental crown dramatically reduces the risk of decay and other issues with that same tooth in the future.

Dental Crown Procedure
What Is the Cost of a Dental Crown?
The cost of a dental crown depends on a few factors, such as the material selected and which tooth is being treated. Porcelain crowns range from $950 to $1,200 at our Albuquerque office. We can provide a more accurate price after examining your tooth at your consultation.
Dental insurance companies usually provide partial or full coverage for crowns depending on your plan. Our team is happy to check your insurance to ensure you get the most out of your benefits.
More about Our E4D Technology
Whenever possible, Dr. Kelly fabricates single-visit tooth crowns using our E4D CAD/CAM system. This advanced technology offers a number of benefits. Most notably, your treatment can be completed in one appointment instead of two. E4D technology also eliminates the need for a temporary crown, which can lower the overall cost of treatment.
Additionally, digital impressions are more comfortable (and more accurate) compared to impressions taken with traditional putty. Our E4D system uses laser scanning as opposed to infrared technology common with CEREC® machines. This eliminates the need for reflective powder, which is commonly used to produce sufficient contrast for digital imaging.
